In this role, I worked with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered digital health solutions aimed at enhancing patient care and improving health outcomes (Web,Mweb and App). We developed new and improved screens based on user needs while keeping up with industry trends. This position involved collaborating with developers to perform quality checks and provide design support as needed, working closely with project managers to clarify requirements and conduct feedback sessions, and partnering with the business team to understand the product intentions and target user groups for upcoming launches.

Introduction:
Led two white-labeling projects for international clients based in Malaysia and Dubai. The core objective was to adapt and customize existing products to align with each client’s brand identity and unique functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Customized core product features and UI to reflect client-specific branding and localization needs.

  • Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and client stakeholders.

  • Ensured seamless communication across all teams to drive timely delivery and successful implementation.

  • Created a clean and minimal design system aligned with the client’s existing website aesthetics.

  • Ensured a consistent and intuitive user experience across all screens and interactions.

Visual Design & Branding

  • Incorporated clean illustrations and authentic imagery to enhance relatability and trust.

  • Maintained a professional and user-friendly visual tone suitable for a healthcare platform.

Localization & Accessibility

  • Designed all modules with full support for both English and Arabic languages.

  • Considered RTL (right-to-left) formatting and cultural nuances for Arabic content.

The company's app helped it's patients book appointments, view their consultations and reports and track their medicines.

As part of a larger app revamp initiative driven by the business team, the work was divided into phases due to the app's broad scope. I was responsible for designing and delivering a new feature module aimed at premium users subscribed to the annual health plan.

The feature enabled users to track fitness goals, activities, and workouts, access wellness blogs, and receive personalized goal suggestions based on their app engagement. Close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers was maintained throughout, with regular hygiene checks and feedback loops to ensure a high-quality rollout.

Responsibilties:

  1. Acted as a liaison between developers, business team, and design team to ensure clear and consistent communication.

  2. Conducted hygiene checks on feature versions post-release to ensure functionality and quality.

  3. Raised and managed visibility of version-specific issues by creating tickets in JIRA.

    • Designed the user journey for Login and Sign-Up functionality.

    • Created a questionnaire module to assess the user's health status.

    • Developed a scoring system to calculate a personalized health score based on questionnaire responses.

    • Built features to allow users to set, monitor, and improve their health goals.

  5. Goal Suggestions

    • Implemented an algorithm to recommend personalized activities aligned with user-defined goals.
